KMFS Vantaedge ROTOCLAMP

Advanced clamp ROTOCLAMP for the KMFS Vantaedge system.

The rotary clamp set provides the possibility of individually adjusting the distance of the clamping jaws, or the possibility of adding additional jaws for optimal clamping.

Beacuse the integral clamps completely milled from a block of Ergal 7075 T651 material, a firm and easy clamping is achieved. This is made possible by two clamping clamps equipped with spherical bronze bushings for clamping screws. The bronze ball bushings eliminate unwanted forces during clamping and allow perfect adaptation to the knife blade. It is not necessary to clamp the blade in both additional clamps when clamping the knife, even one clamp provides improved clamping for sharpening.

The Rotoclamp set allows the rotation of the knife blade in the set without having to remove any part of the Vantaedge set. At the same time, it retains the possibility of easy removal of the clamped knife including the clamp for checking the blade. The Rotoclamp set ensures that the knife is locked at 180° thanks to a shaped groove in the bronze seat. The knife clamping position is calibrated and can be adjusted if necessary.

The main chassis is made of ERGAL 7075 T651 material for maximum strength, rigidity and durability.

The stainless steel shaft of the clamps is mounted in two bronze bushings in which it rotates and moves.

The force of the stainless steel spring locking the grinding position can be adjusted with a self-locking stainless steel nut using the key in the package.

The ROTOCLAMP set has a lower linear bearing of the angle head and therefore allows grinding sharper angles on the knife blade.
