Sharpening system KMFS SENSEI freehand sharpener

The KMFS SENSEI sharpening system is a completely new type of set.

The set allows you to maintain a precise grinding angle while completely free-hand sharpening move on any stones and thus achieve perfect results with maximum grinding performance.

The patented solution of the grinding system is completely developed and manufactured in the Czech Republic.

This sharpening system uses our patented reverse kinematic and thanks to this it keeps the same angle on the entire edge of the sharpened blade.

The set is equipped with a stainless steel hover spring, which is adjusted using the setting wheel on bar for ideal sharpening on different stone thicknesses, or at different blade heights.

The set allows you to choose the location of the kinematics with bar in the center, or left/right for optimal movement of the kinematics for different sharpening styles.

The sharpening system in the basic set includes a head with grinding angles of 15°, 17.5°, 20°, 22.5° which are absolutely precisely maintained throughout the blade and during each sharpening. Additional accessories of the set allow sharpening of other angles too. Attention – this is the angle between the clamping magnets and the sharpening stone.

Because of the strong dual magnetic clamping, clamping the blade is very fast and safe. The magnets are in a protective rubber casing that improves grip and protects the blade surface.

A completely stainless steel stand that functions not only as a weight but also very conveniently dampens vibrations ensures solid and rigid sharpening.

The set is completely equipped with ball bearings for absolutely smooth operation without play. There are 4 pieces of completely covered bearings for rotation around two angular axes and 3 pieces of double linear four-row bearings for linear movemets.

The set has a stainless steel sharpening stone holder that is able to clamp all KMFS stones and most stones from other manufacturers, where there is no problem with the transition of the abrasive, there is no need to adjust the set in any way for a different thickness of the abrasive, the kinematics always achieve the correct angle. The set also allows clamping of any diamond or water grinding stone up to a length of 225 mm.
